Yoshii Gallery, founded in 1990, offers important works by 20th century masters and leading contemporary artists. In 1994, their exhibition of Giacometti’s “Early Works in Paris” was selected by the International Association of Art Critics as the second best gallery exhibition in the United States. Since then, the gallery has continued to produce high caliber shows that highlight both established and emerging artists working in a wide range of media.
The gallery opened in 1990 at 20 West 57th Street and moved to 17 East 76th Street in 2000. Since 2011, the gallery has been based at 980 Madison.
