Timothy Taylor | London
Timothy Taylor is a modern and contemporary art gallery in Mayfair, London. Founded by Timothy Taylor in 1996, the gallery has developed a multi-generational roster of artists united by an interest in the history and legacy of post-war abstraction, including Sean Scully, Alex Katz, Kiki Smith, Josephine Meckseper, Eddie Martinez, Shezad Dawood, and others. The gallery also represents the estates of important modernist painters like Antoni Tàpies and Simon Hantaï. In addition to its exhibition program, the gallery has produced over twenty publications, including artist books and exhibition catalogues. In October 2007, the gallery opened a new 5,000-square-foot space at Carlos Place, Mayfair, designed by Eric Parry Architects.
