Robilant + Voena | Milan
The gallery was founded by two partners, Edmondo di Robilant and Marco Voena, in London in 2005. Further gallery spaces were opened in Milan in 2011 and St Moritz in 2014. Their interest is unusually broad - more than five centuries, starting from the 15th to the 21st. Their collection of Old Masters includes gold-ground works of the 15th century, Caravaggesque and Baroque painting of the 16th and 17th centuries, topographical vedute of the 18th century, and en plein air painting of the 19th century. The gallery is particularly focused on Italian post-war art including Agostino Bonalumi works, Burri, Castellani, Consagra and Fontana who shaped the landscape of 1950s-1970s Italian and European art. Robilant & Voena carries a large secondary market inventory, including artworks by Picasso, Warhol, Wool, Hirst and Koons among others.
