L’AiR Arts* is a not-for-profit organisation (une association à but non lucratif soumise à la loi 1901) with a mission to support intercultural artistic exchange through international residency programs, while promoting diversity, inclusion and international understanding through artistic and cultural heritage. The L’AiR Arts curated programme aims to encourage artistic encounters across the residency network and foster exchange between artists and cultural professionals from around the world.
While our residency programme promotes and celebrates the importance of in-person interactions, we are looking forward to engaging online through our curated exhibitions programme which will extend beyond our residency schedule. This has been born out of the need to adapt and adjust amidst the global pandemic, which has called into question ideas around accessibility, travel and how we can collaborate and communicate.
This online exhibition space is intended to become a virtual presentation platform connecting artists from different continents and different residency sessions across the different years of L’AiR Arts residency programme. We are pleased to facilitate this online space where viewers can now visit our exhibitions and engage with the work of our residents virtually, especially now when visiting cultural spaces in person is less possible.
As with our residency sessions in Paris, we are excited about the possibility to connect with art lovers, curators, critics and collectors from around the world!
