Kanalidarte is based in Brescia, and opened its first space in 2009 with a focus on kinetic, cinevisual and programmed Italian and international art of the 60s and 70s.
Since the beginning the gallery was interested in international sceneries, managing several exhibitions as a solo show dedicated to Luis Tomasello, a group show of the French GRAV Group and a comparative exhibition of the worlds of Manzoni, Klein, Aubertin and the show Bianco Assoluto, a dialogue between Italian and other European Zero Group artists.
In 2016 Kanalidarte has opened the second venue with an exhibition program paying attention to the most conceptual and processual art trends, proposing internationally renowned artists like Boetti, Calzolari, Paolini, Mondino, Nagasaki, Mapplethorpe, Long, Oppenheim among others.
