Federico Rui Arte Contemporanea opens a new exhibition of the Japanese Artist, Fuji Nishida, titled "Still Life".
Born in Kobe, Japan, after graduating from the University of Kanazawa, he moved to Milan in 1980 to attend the Brera Academy of Fine Arts. Thus he began his career that led him to combine Eastern and Western traditions, with a succession of exhibitions both in Italy and in Japan.
Fujio Nishida paints from life and creates his compositions in the studio, a sort of a theater of nature and soul that leads him to paint not only the object, but the poetry of the object itself, capturing its intimate essence. The most important moment of his creation is when he "forms" the composition on the artwork table.
The exhibition aims to celebrate the artist's forty years of activity in Italy, including the solo shows at Galleria 32 (Milan), at Fujii Gallery Modern (Tokyo ), Studio F22 (Palazzolo sull'Oglio), Palazzo della Permanente (Milan), Ikeda Museum of 20th Century Art, Ito (Shizuoka) and Palazzo Bovara (Milan).
