Group Show: A SIGHT TO BEHOLD
The show looks at the human eye as an organ of perception, of looking, of exchanging looks, and of being looked at; a theme that encompasses voyeurism and introspection, the reflection in the mirror and the inward search of the soul. The wide variety of materials and techniques represented makes for a particularly vibrant show and creates an extraordinary field of tension as the works engage in a dialogue with each other and with the viewer.
Berlin-based, internationally exhibited and collected Chilean artist Sandra Vásquez de la Horra (*1967) is represented not only with her little ambiguous ceramic pieces with her most recent work: colored drawings on waxed paper. We also present the two latest sculptures by Londoner Rebecca Stevenson (*1971).
