Days Like These
The solo exhibition by HuskMitNavn connects the many themes of the artist’s oeuvre. The various drawings and paintings depict momentary snapshots of everyday modern life seen through eyes of the artist. Themes such as family life, work, leisure time, hopes and dreams and the relations in between are present in the paintings and drawings on display at Charlotte Fogh Gallery.
The recognizable line and subtle humor of HuskMitNavn has placed the artist among the most prominent artists in both Denmark and internationally. Over the years the visual language of HuskMitNavn has evolved from creating large scale graffiti with the significant outlines to creating an unique style of painting. The combination of different graffiti techniques and classic styles are reminiscent of great Danish artist such as Wilhelm Lundstrøm, Henry Heerup and Edward Weie.
