In his daily life Vladimir finds inspiration in two main directions – social topics, affecting him as a person who is part of the common flow of life, and the nature, with its uniqueness of beauty and resurgence.
Vladimir works primarily with wood, but do not deprive himself of the pleasure of experimenting with other techniques and materials. In his works he likes to leave a sense of primitiveness, harshness, even incompleteness of form. Often he is looking for a different compositional presentation of the object and for varieties of its form’s texture.
For Vladimir the art is a place to run away, to inspire himself and to feel positive emotion – both from the process of making it, as well as from its comprehension and contemplation; it gives him many new emotions and feelings.
