Focusing his artistic lens on views of the landscape, French photographer Thomas Jorion has scoured the globe for the most striking views of our amazing planet and the civilization that inhabits it.
Of particular interest in Jorion’s work is a documentation of the lost or forgotten corners of our world: abandoned or derelict spaces that recall a past splendor and purpose but have decayed to become a new source of beauty.
Based in Paris and largely self-taught, Jorion has enjoyed several published editions of his work, including “Silencio,” released by La Martinière editions in 2013. He also enjoyed the exhibition of a newer series, “Veduta” in Paris in early 2019.
