Rasmus Albertsen hates pretentious theoretical art. He paints because he is bored and is - perhaps - without even knowing it - part of a new, expressionist style in the art of painting, where you give a fuck in rules and academic tradition and just paint. His works show an immediacy, a casual, crude way of painting and an acidic universe often populated by distorted or half-human birds, maybe added a creepy touch, but also with a pinch of humor. Rasmus' paintings are painted with a spatula and oil paint. Fast and easy and most important with no room for bullshit!
