Ole Martin Lund Bø
1973 · Norway
Running the gamut from the precise geometry of forms to the loose, organic strokes of amorphous mark-making, Norwegian artist Ole Martin Lund Bø uses the space of his art to explore the bounds of the finite and the infinite and to question the ways in which the composition can become a space for exploration.
Born in Stavanger, Norway, in 1973, Bø studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bergen from 1998 to 2002. He has since enjoyed multiple opportunities to exhibit ins work in various international locales. Recent showcases include “Foil” at the Denny Gallery in New York (2013); “Elastic Measures” at Sinne in Helsinki (2014); and “Havana” at QB Gallery in Oslo (2016).
