Artist biography

Chilean Visual Artist. In 2019, she obtained the funding granted from the Ministry of Cultures and Arts, FONDART 2019 to develop her individual exhibit "Syncretic" at the Krank Art Gallery in Istanbul, Turkey. This exhibition was inserted within the framework of the Biennial of Contemporary Art being held at the moment. In 2017, she was selected to participate in the thematic exhibition of the 7th International Art Biennial in Beijing, China. She studied Visual Arts and also obtained a Bachelor's degree in Education at the Finis Terrae University, Santiago, Chile. She completed successfully a postgraduate degree in Contemporary Applied Arts at the Escola Massana in Barcelona, Spain, and an art residency at the School of Visual Arts, SVA, in New York City. She is involved in projects in Art, Education, and Design and has participated in different collective and four solo exhibitions. During the years 2008 to 2012 she was Assistant Professor of Workshop I and II and Representation, Professor II, during 2011 and 2012 of the School of Design at the Finis Terrae University. She carried out the preliminary project of the Museographic of the Paredones Museum, VII Region, Chile and for three years she carried out special Art programs for youth struggling with social risk and kids with different capabilities through her collaboration with, an organization dedicated to sustainable development in the areas of society, community, economy, and environment.
