Jenny Klein’s practice centres on a group of interconnected themes: time and memory; locations and surfaces; and the encounter between the artist and the viewer at the shifting surface of the artwork. She works in a range of media including photography, assemblage and stitch.
Her work has been exhibited at venues including the Crypt Gallery, Tate modern, Harrow Arts Centre and Harts Lane. Upcoming events include the Passaggiatina artist’s residency in Atina, Italy, and an exhibition at the Safehouse Gallery in South London. Writing is an important part of her practice and her article ‘Locations’ about Agnes Varda, memory and place, will be published later this year in Jaws Journal.
Jenny graduated from the MA in Fine Art at Central Saint Martins in the summer of 2020.
