Known as a pioneer in the 1970s Roman “new painting” art scene, Claudio Adami collaborated with friends and fellow artists to create a new style. Working alongside his colleagues he created a new way of making art by incorporating analytical and conceptual connotations into his works. Working in black and white, his mixed medium pieces inspired a whole new generation of young artists. Claudio Adami was born in 1951 in Città di Castello, Perugia, Italy.
