For the 2019 NADA Miami, Bonamatic will exhibit new works by Kasper Hesselbjerg and Per Lunde Jørgensen. Kasper Hesselbjerg is working with sculpture, photography and language to curiously explore how we use and make sense of the object world around us. His works are often informed by communication systems such as art history, philosophy, sociology and gastronomy to question everyday objects and images and to destabilize their meaning. A main question in Per Lunde Jørgensen's work is how subjectivity is formatted in a culture of prefabricated solutions and products. He uses techniques of appropriation and assemblage to investigate preowned products by collecting, dismantling and reassembling them in new configurations or by presenting them in other spaces, thereby reflecting the infinite strangeness of the real.
