Claudio Composti has grown up in a historic Galleria Franco Toselli, being a partner of his father Gianfranco and playing with artists like Boetti, Merz, Paladino. His passion led him to open the Galleria Ca’ Fra in 1997 with his father and sisters later. In 2009 he opened the mc2gallery with a young collector Vincenzo Maccarone, with who he shares his artistic tastes and passions. mc2gallery moved to a new location: a former leather industry in Via Lamaga 4, near the Navigli district, behind the Pecci Museum in Milan. In the new venue, exhibitions and cultural debates are organised in collaboration with the University of Milan. The Gallery founder loves photography, but he’s not limiting the line of the gallery. It hosts exhibitions of paintings, video and photography, mixing live music and different artistic languages.
