The Magazzino gallery opened in 1997 in Rome and has supported and promoted research within the field of contemporary art, collaborating with artists, critics and curators.
The gallery represents roman nouvelle vague that let several important openings happen in Rome. It’s main target is representing young, emerging Italian artists as well as International artists exhibiting in Rome for the first time. Another mission of Magazzino is the organisation of exhibitions created and curated especially for the gallery space.
The gallery has developed several projects with its artists, supported large-scale productions and projects, showcased in important national and international venues. All these characterised Magazzino as one of the leading galleries in Rome.
