Gleichapel, established in April 2014, is a discrete, miniature, experimental, independent art platform, out of context and rooted in the middle of the hyper-boutique-gallery-resto-land of the Upper Marais(UM) district. In fall 2018, after a two-year pause, Gleichapel returned for new programming. It is a vitrine, a “ public room” seeking to host and give attention to quality projects and collaborations with and between artists, collectors, and curators. Approached also are historically relevant and seminal works of art either under the radar or on the front lines of creation. A seminal work from an important private collection by Daniel Zeller was the first presentation in May/June 2014.
