Galleria Studio G7
Ginevra Grigolo has opened G7 Gallery in 1973, and the exhibition journey started with a solo show by Michelangelo Pistoletto. In 1974 Gilberto Zorio was presented in the space and in 1975 Giulio Paolini with Apoteosi di Omero.
During the 70s the gallery has hosted several exhibitions concerning American and English Pop Art, with an interest for Conceptual Art, Photograph, Performances and Narrative Art. During the 80s the gallery has collaborated with international artists including Patrick Poirier, Sol LeWitt, with an intention to anticipate trends and sensitize the public by promoting international artists unknown to Italian public.
In the 90s other name have entered Bologna, and the participation of Studio G7 in the most important international art fairs gave the opportunity to gain reputation abroad. Studio G7 has been always focused on sculptural procedure, seeing it’s central role within the contemporary artistic scene.
Ourdays the activity continues with a primary interest for the latest trends. The gallery has celebrated its 44 years activity on April 2017 by creating a retrospective at Museo d’Arte Moderna di Bologna.
