Galleria d'Arte Maggiore G.A.M.
Franco and Roberta Calarota founded the Galleria d’Arte Maggiore in 1978 in Bologna. Since then they have worked to build a permanent collection of international prestige composed of works by the greatest artists of the twentieth century. In 2011 the takeover of Alessia Calarota, daughter of founders, brings an innovative approach to the gallery’s management, aimed at uniting tradition with a new perspective, showing how modern art has influenced contemporary art.
The Galleria d’Arte Maggiore has always collaborated with some of the most important museums in the world and regularly participated in major international art fairs.
