Galleria Antonio Battaglia
Antonio Battaglia has started his career as a gallerist in December 1997. He stopped his studies at Brera Academy of Art and opened his gallery in the Brera district in San Carpoforo Street. At the end of 2020 he moved to their actual location at 5 Ciovasso Street, very close to the previous space, where he has proposed the young Italian painters connected to Brera Academy and the artist - professors. During the last years the gallery’s program presented the revival’s artists of 60s, 70s who worked mostly in Milan: Armando Marrocco, Aldo Spoldi, Gottardo Ortelli Fernanda Fedi, Paolo Barrile, Eugenio Carmi and others. The gallery is mainly focused on new trends and tendencies; it gives support to his artists in organising public exhibitions and publishing the catalogs, with the aim to present them in important modern and contemporary art fairs.
