KANT is a gallery focusing on contemporary art founded in 2009 by Kerry Harm Nielsen and Anna Gram Sørensen. The gallery puts its primary emphasis on presenting artists from Scandinavia and Europe and represents both conceptually driven and figurative practices. Each year KANT presents 6-8 exhibitions in the main gallery and 3-4 exhibitions in the adjacent project room. The gallery started as a project room in Sønderho on Fanø’s west coast, moving from West Jutland to the heart of Copenhagen in 2010. The gallery’s primary focus is on emerging and established artists, mainly from Scandinavia and Europe. KANT presents ten exhibitions annually within all types of media and formats.
