Galeria Houssein Jarouche
Galeria Houssein Jarouche acts as an exhibition and research platform for the avant-garde of the 60s, as well as their contemporary developments. In its almost two years, it has already received six collective and individual exhibitions such as those of Robert Indiana and Claudio Tozzi, in addition to having curated names with the Italian Sofia Gotti and Luisa Duarte. Its new headquarters, also located in Jardim América, will be inaugurated next to the opening of the exhibition by the Ukrainian artist Pazza Penello.
The responsible for the new space is the MK27 studio by Marcio Kogan, and his project has already received important awards such as the Azure Awards, the IAB 75 years (Institute of Architects of Brazil) and two honorable mentions: Blue Print Awards and World Architecture Festival and Awards 2018.
The entrepreneur Houssein Jarouche, name behind Micasa and a reference in design in Brazil, from his experience as an art collector, idealized the design of a gallery that could be the first with a curatorial focus on Pop Art.
