Waiting for the Future
With this group exhibition featuring four important names of the national artistic scene, Andrea Ingenito, under the aegis of the AICA FUTURE brand, looks with interest at the “Future” and towards new expositive and collaborative experiences, also using the skills of Dino Morra, which, active for over ten years in the art market, will play an integral role in the gallery team. The intent of the exhibition is to provoke a “visual collapse” generated first by the dimensional contrasts between the canvases, where the micro becomes dictate or macro after the alternation of light and shadows, such as those given by the alchemical monochromes of Sonia Riccio, the ethereal visions of Gioacchino Pontrelli and the rigorous, colored and mutant compositions of Veronica Montanino, which will be realized during the artist’s residence at the MACRO museum in Rome. The path culminates with the imposing sculpture of Paolo Grassino, suspended between the natural and the artificial, which concludes this journey made of different stylistic and technical languages but united by the same compositional energy that aims to amaze the visitor and break schemes and conventions. The arrangement chosen for the individual works in fact produces a dialogue between opposites, the size that alternates with the small format, and the darkness that joins the light, but at the same time manages to infuse harmony and balance in the eyes but especially in the mind of the beholder.
