FO-TO 2019

The series of 12 photographs 'Rome' in black and white made by the artist Thomas Struth in 1988, show the synthesis capacity exerted by Struth's eye. The black and white photos and the thirty years spent by him in Rome, give the visitor an unthinkable view of Rome ourdays. The photos are gelatin silver prints, 12 × 16.5 cm. Particularly significant for the gallery was the participation as a guide to the discovery of Rome, of an artist friend and friend of the gallery: Vittorio Messina, we find him thanked by Struth on the back of some photos.
