Booth A1: Artspace | Phaidon

Artspace and Phaidon are pleased to participate in the inaugural edition of UNTITLED, ART, Online to exhibit a selection of our most coveted editions. Artspace has co-commissioned and produced limited editions with over 200 artists since 2011 and Phaidon has worked with the most influential artists to publish bespoke Collector's Editions. More than $1,000,000 has been raised in support of non-profits globally. Our booth features work by 10 artists including Ebony G. Patterson, Catherine Opie, Nan Goldin and Lubaina Himid.

We are equally excited to debut, Black Woman University, an exclusive limited edition by rising-star Genesis Tramaine. Tramaine is a Black queer artist whose Southern Baptist upbringing plays a major role in her examination of Blackness in contemporary art. Her arresting and invariably spiritual portraits materialize from monochromatic backdrops that showcase the artist's masterful use of color. In this exclusive edition, a striking face, enveloped in a visual collage of mark-making, emerges from an expanse of deep crimson red. Black Woman University is, foremost, an homage to Black women and their endless wisdom. "I come from a family of women who were teachers and I have never met a black woman who hasn't taught me something, '' the artist explains. Proceeds from the sale of this edition will support programming, fellowships and grants at the New York Foundation for the Arts (NYFA).
