Grey underwood, shadowy fronds and a complex ambiguous space, between nature and human culture. The woods of Giulia Dall'Olio evoke with oil, pastels and charcoal, a pristine world which reminds us of a link to nature, to our animal side and to things that our modern way of life deems superfluous to remember. Nevertheless that wild darkness in which we usually lose our path is there eternally in conflict with the interests of humans and eternally vibrant despite all of it. A signic practice that mimics the vegetal growth to reconnect a natural world where the self and the Us coexist.
