Description

It's a very large framed canvas. I started working on it 35 years ago and have kept adding to it ever since. I always loved fishing and exploring the reef up in Queensland. Hemmingway got me interested in fishing for Marlin. And when I got back to Sydney in 1980 Lee Marvin told me Lizard Island was the best place to catch one. I eventually caught a thousand pound Marlin at Lizard Island in The Great Barrier Reef in 1982. That's when this classic painting was first started.
