Description

A hidden pure freshwater pond a mile up the river from the Indian ocean we find a perfect reclusive hideaway. Our local guide Bruce managed to venture in his " Tinny " up here. A tin boat with an outboard motor to camp out by himself for more than six months living of the land and fishing in the ponds locally. We were privileged enough to be flown in here by our helicopter pilot guide . One of the few oasis on Mother Earth where no one ever goes. The infamous Kimberley region of North Western Australia. Three and a half times the size of England and with a mere population of 35,000 people.
