Artist biography

Graduated from the Accademia di Belle Arti in Rome. She began working in 2004 at "Cortilarte", an exhibition held at the Casa della Letteratura in San Lorenzo. In 2006 she won the first prize at the National Contest of Visual Arts, organized by ANMIL and INAIL and held at the Palazzo della Cancelleria in Rome. In the same year she held her solo exhibition Ateliers d'Artista at the library in Villa Mercede in collaboration with Fondazione Pastificio Cerere. After participating in several collective exhibitions in 2010, Fabio Sargentini supervised Veronica Botticelli's solo exhibition "Un Quadro Nel Teatro" at the Galleria L'Attico in Rome. In 2011 she held an exhibition at the L.E.S. Gallery, CSV Center in New York City. In 2012 she was among the young artists chosen to enter the 5th edition of the Premio VAF with a traveling exhibit at the Stadtgalerie in Kiel; the Museum Biedermann in Donaueschingen; CIAC Centro per L'Arte Contemporanea, Castello Colonna in Genazzano. She won the "Premio Giovani 2014" of the Accademia di San Luca. In 2015 she was a finalist for the Terna Prize in Painting section. She currently lives and works in Paris.
