Roel Van Der Linden is a visual artist, who was born in the the Netherlands, like other well-known artists such as Edi, Bert Van Santen, Renie Spoelstra, Jaco Brederoo, and Roos Van Der Vliet.

Roel Van Der Linden is represented by two galleries, which are Kersgallery in Amsterdam, the Netherlands and Singular-Art in Nijmegen The Netherlands, the Netherlands. Roel Van Der Linden's work has most recently been exhibited at Printer's Proof in Valby (05 April 2019 until 25 May 2019) with the exhibition PRESS PRINT!.

Historical Context of Netherlands

In the post-Impressionist era, the dutch Vincent Van Gogh is considered among one of the most leading innovators, and is of course regarded as one of the most remarkable painters of all time, irrespective of the era. Willem de Kooning is also Dutch, although he emigrated to the United States at a young age and his work is most closely related to the New York City Abstract Expressionist scene of the late 1940s and 1950s.
