Philippe Lardy (1963) studied at the Brussels Higher Institute for Plastic Arts, after which he moved to New York to continue his studies at the School of Visual Arts. Lardy developed his versatility in America, which translated into collaborations with artists such as Jerry Moriarty and Anton van Dalen. Moreover, he does not stick to one form of art and considers his illustrative and graphic work, which he claims to be conjunctive with the outside world, to be complementary to his paintings, which allow him to introspect. Philippe Lardy’s work has been exhibited in many countries around the world, including Italy, Canada, Japan and South Korea.
