Nora Douady was born in Paris and graduated in art history at the Beaux-Arts. She studied under the Italian painter Leonardo Cremonini.
She started exhibiting her works in 1990, mostly in Paris. She later showed abroad and was awarded various Prizes: second Prize for portrait P.L. Weiler from the Beaux Arts Académie in 1999 and the Grand Prix R. Michaïlov from the Taylor Foundation as well as the Prix Noufflard of the Fondation de France in 2016 and the Prize M. Carpet of the Fondation Taylor.
She has been exhibiting with Galerie Felli for more than ten years where 4 catalogs have been published.
