Nemanja Golijanin was born in Bosnia and Herzegovina and currently lives and works in Belgrade. He graduated from the Department of Painting at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Belgrade. Due to his outstanding achievements in figuration and drawing, he received a scholarship from the Faculty of Fine Arts, earning him an artistic residency at the International Center for the Arts at Monte Castello, Italy. The works of Nemanja Golijanin have been presented at numerous group and solo exhibitions. He has exhibited independently at the Cultural Center of Novi Sad (2019), the Belgrade Street Gallery (2018), the Center for Contemporary Art in Podgorica (2015), the U10 Art Space in Belgrade (2014) and at the Dunav Gallery in Belgrade (2011). His major group exhibitions include OFF THE ROAD (Center for Contemporary Art, Podgorica, 2018), Last Christmas I Gave You My Art (Ravnikar Gallery Space, Ljubljana, 2018), Heterotopia – The Spaces of Otherness (Serbian Pavilion, London, 2017), OFF THE ROAD (Pro3or Gallery, Belgrade, 2017), Interruption (The Library, London, 2017), Point of View (Gallery 106, London, 2016), LISTE (Basel Art Fair, 2016), “Cvijeta Zuzorić” ( Belgrade, 2015) and “Drawings” (Risbe) (Goethe Institut, Belgrade, 2008).
