By exploring space as a medium in itself Nadia Galbiati’s study of architectural forms through sculpture is the basis of her work. Borne from the interest in the interaction between space, structure, and place; Galbiati’s sculptures and installations are products of extensive research on her topics of fascination. Intended to create new experiences reminiscent of the experience of urban space, she incorporates engraving on metal to create a new form of mapping and spatial interaction.
Born in 1975, Nadia Galbiati graduated from the Academy of Fine Art, Brera in Milan with a degree in Sculpture in 1999.
