Henning Haupty has a studio in Bushwick, NY. His most recent installations were located at Zentralwerk in Dresden, Germany and MainWindow in Dumbo, Brooklyn. He exhibited - among various venues and galleries - in solo shows at the Wenzel Hablik Museum, Germany, 2016 and the Coral Springs Museum of Art, USA, 2014. Haupt was a fellow of the University in Dresden, Germany in 2019, the Artist-in-Residence-Program at Anderson Ranch Arts Center, Colorado, 2016 and Brush Creek Foundation of Art, Wyoming, 2014. In 2013, he was awarded with the South Florida Cultural Consortium Fellowship, exhibited in the Museum of Art, Fort Lauderdale. Haupt taught Architectural Design and classes as “Color, Material and Space” at Florida Atlantic University as Assistant and Associate Professor with tenure. Previously, he taught at the Technical University Braunschweig, Germany where he completed his PhD with a Dissertation on color and space in painting and architecture.
