Artist biography

Giovanni De Lazzari (Italy / 1977) lives and works between Bergamo and Milan. De Lazzari's work has never been classifiable within a project and his research probes the primitive nature of the artistic process. His work is current trends, but a temporality that necessarily precedes and disregards any exhibitory moment. He has attended the G. Carrara Academy of Fine Arts, in Bergamo in 2007 and in 2008 he has been invited to the FAR-Antonio Ratti Foundation XIV Advanced Course in Visual Arts. Recently he has participated at the artistic Prize of the city of Treviglio ed.2014. His works has been shown recently at: 2015, The Crossed Mirror, Former Convent of San Lupo, Bergamo; 2015 Memorandum, Art House, Scutari; 2015 Secret Days, Syson gallery, Nottingham; 2015 The double.
