The artist Carmen Baena studied Fine Arts at the Universidad Politécnica of Valencia. This sculptor, born in Granada, settled down in Murcia, where she has developed the major part of her career. Her sculpture work creates landscapes made of white marble with which she achieves to transport the spectator to places far away in the world that convey silence, cold, peace, immensity, among other things. Carmen Baena is a multidisciplinary artist that mixes different materials and techniques to be able to create this series of landscapes. Throughout her career, she has participated in numerous exhibitions, both solo and collective. Her work is present in public collections, like, for instance, in the Regions of Murcia and Valencia, in city councils and even in some museums like the Museo Postal of Madrid.
