Artist biography

Alfredo Maiorino was born in Nocera Inferiore in 1966 and teaches painting at the Reggio Calabria Academy of Fine Arts. He has exhibited in numerous solo and collective exhibits and has participated in Italian and international shows. His most recent solo exhibits include Ri-Velare, Studio Trisorio, Naples (2015) and Ri-Velare, Castello di Postignano, Perugia (2015). The collective exhibitions in which he has taken part include Imago Mundi, Museo Madre, Naples (2017), Los Angeles, Serrone della Villa Reale di Monza, Monza (2017) and Architettura incisa 2ª edizione, Istituto Nazionale per la Grafica, Palazzo Poli, Rome (2012). He took part in the 54th Venice Biennale International Art Exhibition (2011), The 13th Seoul-Space, International Print Biennial, Seoul Museum of Art, Seoul (2004) and the XIV Quadriennale in Rome (2003).
